Hi, I’m Rhys. I’m an audio engineer / sound designer / music producer based in Auckland, New Zealand. Born and raised in Christchurch amongst a very creative family, I was exposed to all forms of music and art from a very young age.

Having dabbled in many other forms of art including photography and graphic design, music has always been the main focus in my life. From playing in bands and orchestras throughout my younger years, to more recently studying Audio Engineering at MAINZ. I completed my Diploma in Audio Engineering in 2012, and prior to this gained a Diploma in Photographic Imaging from CPIT. My main passion is combining these disciplines – creating music and sound for visual media.

In my last year at MAINZ I won the contract to work on the New Zealand Music Awards. My work proved to be so successful that I continued this work for multiple years in a row, and have since worked on many other projects in a freelance capacity.
